Agreement and scope

These Terms of Service govern your use of normalmapgeneratorai.online, including the normal map generator, PBR texture tools, batch processing workflow, AI-ready local preview, tutorials, and related pages. By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The tools and their intended use

Normal Map Generator provides browser-based tools that turn image or height information into texture-map starting points. The outputs are intended for prototyping, material exploration, and production workflows where you review and adjust the result in the target renderer.

The tools cannot infer hidden geometry, remove every baked-lighting artifact, recover a physically accurate material scan, or guarantee that a map is correct for every mesh, shader, engine version, platform, or lighting setup. You are responsible for checking the output before using it in a project.

The free local tools do not require an account. Source images selected for the local workflow are processed in the current browser tab and are not submitted to a conversion queue. The AI Normal Map page currently uses a clearly labeled deterministic local preview. It does not claim to provide remote model inference until an API is actually connected.

Acceptable use

You may use the site for lawful creative, educational, research, and commercial workflows. You agree not to:

• Break or bypass security, rate limits, access controls, or technical restrictions
• Use the site to distribute malware, harmful code, or content that violates applicable law
• Interfere with the availability, integrity, or performance of the site
• Attempt to access another person's private information or account
• Misrepresent generated previews as verified scans, official assets, or physically accurate measurements
• Use automated requests in a way that places unreasonable load on the service

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights to use any image, texture, reference, or other material you process through the site.

Your content

You retain ownership of the source images, prompts, and other content you choose to process. You grant Normal Map Generator only the permissions reasonably required to operate a feature you explicitly use. The current local conversion flow does not require us to receive or store the source image.

If you voluntarily send content in a support request or use a future remote integration, you authorize us to handle that content to provide the requested service, investigate the issue, and maintain the service, subject to the Privacy Policy and any feature-specific notice.

Intellectual property

The website interface, source code, written content, branding, layouts, and original instructional materials are owned by or licensed to the site operator and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of those materials to you.

Blender, Unity, Unreal Engine, Cloudflare, and other referenced products are trademarks of their respective owners. Normal Map Generator is independent and is not endorsed by those companies.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue a tool, page, export format, integration, or part of the site at any time. We may also update the algorithms, supported file types, output behavior, limits, or documentation as the product develops.

We aim to keep the site useful and available, but we do not promise uninterrupted access, permanent availability, compatibility with every browser, or preservation of every generated preview. Keep local copies of important source files and exported assets.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site and its outputs are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that an output will meet a particular artistic, technical, performance, compatibility, or commercial requirement.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Normal Map Generator and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.

Paid features and future integrations

The current local tools do not require payment. If paid features, subscriptions, or remote AI integrations are introduced, the checkout flow, feature notice, pricing, privacy disclosures, and refund terms will be published or updated before those features are offered.

Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms when the site or its integrations change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
