Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Normal Map Generator, available at normalmapgeneratorai.online, handles information when you use our browser-based normal map, PBR texture, batch processing, tutorial, and AI-ready preview workflows.

Our product is designed around local-first texture processing. The free generator does not require an account, and source images selected for the local tools are decoded and processed in your current browser tab rather than uploaded to a conversion queue.

Information processed locally in your browser

When you use the normal map, PBR, batch, or AI-ready local preview tools, your browser may temporarily hold:

Source images, height maps, and reference images selected through the file picker
Material prompts, selected presets, engine settings, and preview state
Generated image data used to display or download PNG files

This information is used to complete the action you requested in the current page. The free local workflow does not send the source image to Normal Map Generator's conversion server. Your browser may still retain temporary data until the page is closed or the browser releases it.

The current AI Normal Map page uses a deterministic local fallback. It is not presented as live model inference. If a remote AI provider is connected in the future, the relevant request data, provider, retention behavior, and controls will be described before that service is enabled.

Information you choose to send us

If you contact support by email or submit the contact form, we may receive your name, email address, message, and any details or attachments you choose to include. We use this information to answer your request, investigate tool issues, and improve the site.

Please do not send confidential production assets, credentials, payment details, or personal information that is not necessary to explain your question.

Technical and security information

Like most websites, the hosting and delivery infrastructure may process limited technical information such as an IP address, request time, browser type, device information, requested URL, and error or security events. Normal Map Generator is deployed using Cloudflare infrastructure, which may process this information to deliver pages, protect the service, detect abuse, and maintain reliability.

We do not use the local texture tools to build a profile of the material images you process. If optional analytics, support, email, or other third-party services are enabled later, this policy will be updated to identify their purpose and the information they receive.

Cookies and local storage

The site may use essential cookies or browser storage for functional settings such as language preference, theme preference, security, and session behavior where those features are enabled. The local texture workflow itself does not require an account cookie.

How we use information

We do not sell source images or support messages. We do not use ordinary local-tool source images for advertising personalization.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the rights and safety of the site or its users, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or asset sale.

Data retention and security

Local source images and generated previews are intended to remain in your browser during the current workflow and are not stored by the free conversion flow. Support messages and technical records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to answer requests, maintain security, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no website or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Keep backups of important source assets and avoid uploading sensitive material to any service unless you have decided that the sharing is appropriate.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about personal data that we hold. To make a request, email support@normalmapgeneratorai.online and describe the request clearly. We may need to verify the request before responding.

You can also close the page to clear the local workflow, remove browser storage through your browser settings, or stop using the site. These choices do not necessarily delete technical records or support messages that we must retain for security or legal reasons.
